Saw this sitting on a shelf in a room in our house that we never use.
rollin pt1
I just realized that a 4x6 print has up to a quarter of an inch cropped off the sides compared to the negative. For example, looking at the negative of the 6th photo, his foot is actually inside the frame, and there is twice the distance between the wheel and the edge of the picture. I checked my negatives from before, and from other labs, and all the prints cropped, even the scans on CD. The only part of the print that is negligibly cropped is the top of the negative frame. This makes no sense. The size of 35mm film is 24x36mm which is a 4 by 6 ratio... why are the prints cropped so much?. Put the picture in a frame and you're losing almost half an inch of the original image on the sides. Imagine every page in a magazine has been cropped an inch from the bottom, top, and side for no reason. That way, every article is unreadable and the magazine is worthless! It would be awesome!
WATCH THIS
Even if you don't ride bikes, you will appreciate this. This is literally the craziest thing I have ever seen in my entire life.
newest roll
Got another roll developed. I got my negatives scanned instead of getting prints. Bad idea. The scans are pretty grainy, only 1800px on the largest side, and have dust on them.
I went to some comic-anime-japanese-thing at the university. It was pretty interesting to see "cosplayers" in real life. I saw a girl in a sailor moon costume with a big leg brace walking around on crutches. I wish I took a picture but she was walking in my direction and I didn't want to look all creepy...
I like the first picture. The rest are not good but they might be of interest anyway.

really heavy songs
I usually don't take the time to listen to music posted up on blogs because obviously you have to spend the time listening to the song, and usually it's not a genre you're interested in. Sometimes you take the chance and it turns out you really like it. I highly doubt this will happen in this case though.
David Lynch - Interview Project
This is probably the most interesting thing on the internet next to wikipedia. Basically a team of people went around the U.S. interviewing random people. In some cases it's pretty depressing, others will put a smile on your face. From watching these so far I think I've learned... the happiest people are the ones without regrets.
I don't know how many of you have heard about this. I started watching from the very first interview last year but kind of forgot when school started. I just watched #50 just now.

website peek
I've been working on this the past couple days. I didn't sleep for a day working on it, mainly just trying to figure out how make a decent drop down menu in CSS. I just decided at 1 or 2AM that I should start making a website, and finished up 10 hours later. All the menu stuff is centered on the page, and all the images are scrolled through horizontally, which I think looks cool in action. It's pretty simple but I think it's turning out well.
