Google blows

So I tried to redirect my Youtube account to send me emails to my Hotmail address today and got this:

"Your Google Account's primary email address is a Gmail address, and thus can't currently be changed."

So I can't log into Youtube without a Gmail address, and I can ONLY use Gmail to get updates from youtube. For a while I tried to avoid "linking" my accounts, whatever that means, but eventually Google forced me to choose between two options: use a Gmail account or give them my phone number.

Google is basically turning into Microsoft and Facebook combined, which is basically the worst combination ever.

Here's a quote from Google's CEO:

"I actually think most people don't want Google to answer their questions," he elaborates. "They want Google to tell them what they should be doing next."

  1. Look up interviews with google's CEO. If he wasn't a CEO, I'm sure he'd be arrested for voyeurism; he's that creepy.

Irony time: I had to log into my google account to post this comment.

  2. Google does some cool stuff... but they're definitely looking to become big brother. If people keep blindly flocking to them, they will rule the world.

Posted from my Google Account... ugh...

  3. Looking at the "comment as box", apparently you can post through AIM? AOL still exists? I though they would've have gone bankrupt a long time ago from mailing all those useless internet cds back in the day, lol
